Main Site Administrator permissions

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this question, so please refer me to the correct one if I've got it wrong.

I'm looking for some clarification on the difference between the "Main" site admin and the other site admins. I did a bit of searching in the documentation, but the 2.6 documentation shows a screen shot that looks like it's from 2.1. (http://docs.moodle.org/26/en/Site_administrators)

Are there any differences between the "main" administrator and the other site administrators in terms of ability to perform admin actions on the site?
