This maybe a very Newbie question but...
I am relatively new to Moodle and we are a Moodlerooms house, I have setup our site and have created users with various roles. (Yes I am the site admin)
I was recently grading a test assignment through the Joule 2 grader and left a comment for the student. Everybody who has a role whether enrolled in the course or not got a copy of this email.
In fact I have had this reported to me from another course developer, that comments left on any of her activites, have been generating email to all users who have category or site roles. How do I stop this from happening ?
When I set up users, I set them up to receive digest email of FORUMS that they have posted to only, so how do I confine the emails to:
1 Those actually enrolled directly in a course
2 Control which activities actually generate this traffic
I apologise in advance for asking a question that I am sure has been asked 1 million times before but..
