Re: Error Message

I stand corrected then ... Yep, I see now that this forum auto-linking made www.sprintcareers.co clickable and knocked off the .uk of www.sprintcareers.co.uk ... let's see if it does it again with the hostname this time in this message.

So we're back to .htaccess.  Your service provider says they didn't put one there.   Hmmmmm .... and you are NOT running anything else that might require usage of re-directs.   The moodle package itself, doesn't come with any .htaccess file - nor any htaccess.txt file, so we don't know where it came from nor why it's there.

So ... rename .htaccess to htaccess.txt.  You don't loose anything in it then and Apache, not finding .htaccess, won't attempt any re-directs.  To apache, htaccess.txt is just like any other file to serve out.

Apache doesn't need to be restarted ... let's just access the site and do whatever you were attempting to do when the error appeared.

Still find it strange that no one seems to know why .htaccess on your site is there.

'spirit of sharing', Ken
